version 2026-10-20.1 — updated on 2026-10-20

This text is a draft: the entries marked [TODO owner] still have to be filled in, and a lawyer has not yet proofread it.

Who we are

This service is sold by Kohezie BV (test deployment — no money moves), with registered office at Coupure 620, 9000 Gent, Belgium, enterprise number (KBO, also the VAT number) BE0682878515.

Trading name of the service: Licento.

You can write to us at support@licento.com with a question, an error or a complaint. We reply from the same address.

These terms apply between you and us as soon as you accept them. You accept them by ticking the box provided for that purpose before you pay. Without that box, there is no purchase.

What you buy

You buy one exam. One payment. It is not a subscription: nothing is renewed and there is nothing to cancel.

What you buy has no end date: once you have bought it, the exam's whole book and your scores in it stay yours for as long as we offer the exam on this platform. The price depends on the exam:

Prices include VAT. The price that applies to you is the price that was shown on the purchase page at the time of your order.

Each purchase also comes with a period of Premium, stated on the purchase page. Premium opens the lessons, the practice, the scheduled review up to your exam date and the timed mock exams, in every exam you prepare, for as long as it runs. When it ends, what you bought stays yours. You can continue Premium by a subscription, which renews until you cancel it and then runs to the end of the period you paid for. The diagnostic remains free and does not require an account.

What it is not

We prepare you for an exam. We do not administer that exam and we do not mark it.

What follows is important, and we ask you to read it before you buy:

  • Our content is study material. It is not legal advice and not professional advice. Nor is it the official text: it is our way of explaining it.
  • We are not a public authority, not an accredited body, and we are not affiliated with the authority that organises the exam. Nothing in this service suggests any recognition, approval or official support, and we do not claim to have any.
  • Our questions are written by ourselves, on the basis of the published learning objectives. They are not the questions of the exam. Passing with us gives you no right whatsoever and is not a certificate.
  • We work carefully, we state our sources, and we say when each legal text was last checked. Despite that care, mistakes remain possible: an unfortunate wording, a wrong figure, a rule that has changed since our last check.
  • We do not promise that you will pass. No result is guaranteed. What you score in the exam depends on you, on the examiner and on the day itself.
  • The indication of your readiness level is a statistical estimate, not a prediction of your result.

Before you do anything with legal or practical consequences — hunting, boating, flying, driving — check the official text. Each page says which text it relies on.

Errors and corrections

If you find an error, write to us at support@licento.com. State the exam, the question or the page, and what you think is wrong. That helps us and it never bothers us.

We look at every report. When we make a correction, it applies to everyone and we keep a record of the old version: a question you have already answered is not rewritten before your eyes.

Keeping the content up to date is part of what you buy. It is not a favour: the law requires us to supply content that matches what we have described, and to do so for the whole duration of your access.

Your account and your personal data

We keep the minimum: your email address, the exam you are preparing for, your exam date, and your answers to the questions — because that is what makes the scheduled review work.

We do not ask for your name, your address or your national register number.

What we keep, why, for how long, and how to request deletion: see our privacy notice, Privacy notice.

Payment and withdrawal

Payment is made through our payment service provider. We do not see your card details and we do not store them.

For a distance purchase you normally have fourteen days to withdraw, without giving a reason. For digital content there is an exception when you expressly ask for access to start immediately: the law allows you to waive that right, but only if you ask for it yourself and acknowledge that you thereby lose it.

That is why, at purchase, there is a second box, separate from the acceptance of these terms and not ticked in advance. By ticking it you ask for access to start immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your fourteen-day right of withdrawal. We confirm those two statements to you by email, on a durable medium, with the exact text you accepted.

If you do not tick that box, we cannot open access immediately and the purchase does not go through. Your right of withdrawal is then fully preserved.

As long as you have not used the access and have not waived your right, a withdrawal by email to support@licento.com is sufficient. We refund within fourteen days of receiving your request, using the same means of payment.

Out-of-court handling of a complaint: [TODO owner: name the out-of-court dispute resolution body and its address, to be confirmed with counsel].

Liability

We are liable for the damage we cause through our fault.

Our total liability towards you is limited to the amount you paid for the access concerned. That limit does not apply in the case of intent or gross negligence on our part, in the case of injury to life or physical integrity, or in the other cases where the law does not permit a limitation.

That limit does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, and we do not exclude those rights. If the service does not conform to what we have described, you keep the remedies provided by law: bringing it into conformity, a price reduction, or termination of the contract if the defect is not minor. No sentence in this document may be read as a waiver of those remedies.

On the other hand, we are not liable for the result of your exam, for the decisions of the examiner, or for a change to the exam or to the law by a public authority.

Nor are we liable for an interruption caused by an external cause beyond our control. If the service remains unavailable for a long time, write to us: that is a lack of conformity, and the remedies above apply.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Every change receives a new version number and a date, at the top of this page.

A new version applies only to purchases made after it. We ask you to accept the current version before every purchase; if the version has changed since your last acceptance, we ask you again, and you see the text before you accept.

We do not change, to your disadvantage, the terms of access that you have already paid for. If we have to change the service itself by more than a minor amount during your access, we notify you in advance and you may terminate the contract free of charge.

Applicable law and competent court

Belgian law applies.

As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

In the event of a dispute, you may bring proceedings before the court of your own place of residence, or before ours, at your choice. We may sue you only before the court of your place of residence.

You may also turn to the Consumentenombudsdienst (Consumer Ombudsman Service), or to the European online dispute resolution platform, before going to a judge.
